After a period of close collaboration, Cryotherm(China) and Dalian Polytech Univeristy decided to form a joint Research Center focused at technology and products of cryogenic treatment of hard alloys. An joint opening ceremony was hold on July 25th at Cryotherm China.

Dalian Polytech Univeristy has strong research focus at manufacturing and engineering, particularly in cutting tools. Previous research has shown that cryogenic treatment extended use life of drill bits with carbide head. Further studies will be conducted at this joint Research Center.
